He also has decent spells, including one that is specifically to get back to a target and continue to beat it up (wind step), and is the character that heals slow (as well as the first one that got a rezurection spell for me) Most of his attacks are potent but low hit count (not so great for the bonus experience thing), making him actually good at the front line.
Depends on the enemies, when it's not a big/boss, the first line's second attack has a fairly high chance to put either stun or down on the enemies (and it's AoE too), so you can follow it up with his soul break (and his second soul break if you have it).
